The Sr. Account Executive devoted to online advertising sales in New York is responsible for conceiving and executing creative sales solutions for youth markets TWEEN to 24 and young adults 18 to 34 (12-34) that leverage the full breadth of the firm’s mobile, online and social media platforms to help the firm achieve its overall revenue goals. Clients are major brands, advertising agencies and large sized businesses.
This role requires a self-starter with high initiative, who can sell creatively and strategically, can work collaboratively as a team player, and has very strong presentation, sales and interpersonal skills. We are looking for someone who is highly detail oriented, can thrive in a deadline driven, face paced environment and has familiarity with online advertising sales in a major media company.
The ability to make sales presentations independently and as responses to RFP’s. Sales presentations will be to Automotive, Consumer Packaged Goods, Electronics, Gaming, Entertainment, Movies, Music, Telecommunications, Social Networking, Apparel and all the many businesses that the company presents to once their RFP’s are received or targeted by the firm.
Experience with conceptualizing and presenting to direct clients and advertising agencies. Ability to think strategically, understanding sales needs and translate these needs into compelling concepts and programs for advertisers Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills 5-7 years’ experience working in media (3-4) years selling interactive, online, internet, web, wireless or mobile advertising. Account planning or strategic media planning knowledge to direct your in house sales planners and or creative services team that will be putting together your “beautiful” sales presentations for you. Detail oriented, with the ability to manage many tasks at once and drive process and organization. At time work on large national accounts in conjunction with you Los Angeles and Chicago offices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, reasoning, and organization skills Ability to work proactively and independently Enthusiastic, energetic, focused individual who want to work with professional co-workers in a professional work environment., Working knowledge of Salesforce.com is a plus but not required. We will train.
Bachelors degree preferred Minimum 5 years experience preferably selling in a digital, online or mobile advertising sales environment selling to direct clients and advertising agencies Proficiency in using creativity to sell and service in a professional manner The ability to grow and take on added responsibilities tactically and strategically in the fastest growing division of the company
